Building the Future Together
We are delighted and proud to announce the launch of our new website for the port industry, offering our all-new STS range of cranes, RTG and RMG cranes, hosting the latest designs and technology. And all manufactured in the USA! We are a family business, and we are now in the second generation. This gives us a great feeling to offer this new range of cranes made from American steel and containing American-made components, all to a very high standard of compliance to meet any/all safety requirements and remain in service for many years to come.
This website is still under development, as is our progress with the first STS crane due to be in the test phase late 2025. We will keep all visitors and potential port professionals updated on this website of our latest developments.

The Stafford Ship-to-Shore, Rubber Tyre Gantry, and Rail Mounted Gantry Cranes are cutting-edge models, designed to revolutionize port operations with advanced features and technology.
These newly designed models integrate the latest in automation and safety systems, ensuring efficient and reliable cargo handling. Its robust design allows for greater reach and lifting capacity, accommodating the increasing size of modern cargo vessels.
Enhanced energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact are key highlights, making it an environmentally friendly choice for ports looking to upgrade their equipment.
Newly designed modular component system enabling the cranes to be transported via land, rail or sea, depending on where the customer is located
Option to increase height with a modern lifting system depending on if the ocean ships are Super Panamax or MegaMax
Stafford lattice / strut-designed port cranes will have full and easy access to all welded locations for daily and monthly inspections and NDT inspections
Our lattice / strut cranes will have 55% less surface area, enabling greater out-of-service wind loads of 150mph climate norms
Allow for different dimension increments in height, container boom reach, rail span across tracks and lifting capacity
Flexible design will allow for great order adjustability to the end user/customer and therefore will allow for shorter lead times when ordering new cranes
Modular design will allow for STS cranes to be resold and relocated with less cost and greater efficiency
Due to our smaller modular components, our factories will be smaller in size but in multiple locations in the USA and Portugal.
Our port cranes will have many of the same components so they will be interchangeable on our STS cranes
